Workout consistency is one of the hardest obstacles you will encounter as you strive for your six pack abs goals. Your mood, life issues, drive, or any other reason you can come up with can stop you from doing your workout for that day.

For example, one day you might have had a bad night sleep. So you choose to take a nap for an hour compared to working out or you choose to just take it easy instead or going to the gym. These excuses are the beginning of what can cause you to lose your focus on your goals, making you lose your workout consistency.

When your workout consistency with ab workouts starts to become unpredictable your work ethic will slip as well. This means that if you do somehow motivate yourself to get to the gym, you'll slack off or skip exercises.

Obviously this cannot happen if you are truly determined to reach your six pack abs goals. So how can your get through these consistency issues? Here are some techniques you can use. Not only will it keep your schedule on track, but they will keep you motivated so you can have effective workouts every time you go to the gym.

Utilize A Personal Trainer For Workout Consistency

Depending on your motivation levels, some people perform better when they are receiving encouragement and constant supervision. A personal trainer studies and takes a national certification test. The knowledge that they are able to provide you can keep your workouts from being boring. It can also increase your interest and knowledge about your goals for better ways to improve.

When I worked out with a personal trainer, he constantly kept me on my toes. Every workout was different even though I was working out the same muscles. This randomization maintained my workout consistency, prevented me from ever getting bored, and made me look forward to exercising.

Invest In A Workout Routine

Every time you go to the gym you must have a workout routine in mind or on paper ready for you to follow at a quick glance. Many will make the mistake of trying to make their own routine.

Unless you've been a personal trainer or have been able to successfully transform your body, creating your own routine won't work. It will negatively effect your workout consistency because of the lack of proof that your workout will work.

Lack of knowledge and experience will prevent you from being able to choose exercises that will effectively work out your midsection. Without experience, the usual workout routine will end up being too difficult or intense for the person to do. Therefore, it is best to find a workout that is unique to you. The More The Merrier - Bring A Friend!

No one wants to start on a big goal by themselves, so bring a friend along! Friends bring several positive effects to your workouts, including workout consistency. The most important is that they will be there to support you and encourage you when your spirit might be starting to flutter.

Having a friend workout with you will encourage you to never back out of an exercise. This will prevent you from slacking on your workout consistency. When you have a set appointment with a friend, you are less likely to cancel on them because you don't want to let them down.

When you are in the gym, you will have a good work ethic because you'll want to keep up with your partner. You'll be willing to push yourself more, causing your muscles to reach exhaustion, in turn encouraging better muscle growth.

When I workout with friends at the gym, friendly rivalry will kick in and it will become a competition of who can do their workouts the best. This is great for your determination and drive to become stronger.

Set Rewarding Goals

Set a reward that will keep you focused and excited to continue to strive for your goal. Everyone isn't naturally driven, so goals and rewards need to be put in place to maintain workout consistency. Sign up to enter a local body competition. Agreeing to this will give you determination because you will want to do well at a competition and not embarrass yourself.

After a month of intense workouts and good nutrition, spoil yourself by pigging out on all of your favorite foods. A few other rewards are to go on a mini vacation somewhere, throw a celebration party, go out with friends with you as the reason, buy something you've had your eye on, and so on and so forth.

Whatever your goal may be, make sure that you are genuinely interested in getting the reward. Having a savory reward behind a goal that you want to achieve will be the ultimate combination to your success for workout consistency and achieving your ripped abs goal.
