Female Abs - The Slow And Steady Way

In order to develop female abs, or any muscle, it is the slow and steady person that will be the most successful. When I go to work out at a gym, I can instantly pick out the people that don’t know what they are doing, are doing it for the first time, or are working out the wrong way based on their form and the amount of weight they are lifting.

The Aimless Look

This is a common look when you are new to the gym. You don’t know where anything is and you look like a lost puppy trying to find their way. Although this doesn’t always indicate that you are new, usually if you have experience you’ll be able to quickly find the machines or area you want to go to, because you will have a plan when you go into a gym. Having a plan each time you workout will make you more driven and focused during each workout.

Female Abs First Timers

When trying to develop your core, first timers will usually be lifting more weight than they should be. This will prevent them from getting a flat stomach since their posture for the exercise will be all wrong because the body can’t support the amount of weight it is lifting. It’s important to start off with little to no resistance and slowly work your way up from there.

Slow And Steady Is The Way To Go

Whether you want a sexy flat stomach or ripped six pack abs, the best way to get to your goals is by going slow and steady. The reason this works is because it allows your body time to prepare for muscle growth.

When you start with too much weight your body isn’t able to handle the weight. This compromises your posture and takes away from the benefits of working out, which includes toning your core and being able to lose belly fat.

To start off right, use your best ab exercises workout with little to no resistance. Then each week when you go to the gym you can start to slowly increase the weight from two to five pounds a week. Even if you can go up in resistance more than that, it’s better to progressively get stronger.

This will allow your female abs the chance to build a strong foundation to allow your core to get tight, tone, and reliable for future heavier weights. This technique will get you to your flat stomach goals!
