Cardio workouts complete your entire workout regimen. These workouts can be done in many different ways, such as running, swimming, or playing sports. The kicker is knowing how to push your body so each workout you do will not only help you lose belly fat, but also tone your flat stomach. The idea if similar to getting six pack abs, but instead we focus more on losing belly fat compared to building muscle.

One way to reach this goal is through Turbulence Training. This is a revolutionary new fat loss system, which was designed specifically to help women that are busy get the most out of their workouts. It is scientifically proven and is endorsed by the elite trainers, weight loss coaches, and top female fitness magazines and models.

The workouts are made to burn the most fat in the shortest amount of time possible, which will flatten your stomach and give you that sexy look you've always been wanting. I suggest looking more into Turbulence Training.

Swimming Cardio Workouts

Swimming is an anaerobic activity for cardio workouts. The term anaerobic is a technical word that means without air or oxygen. This is because when you swim, instead of having a steady breathing pattern, you end up having to hold your breath while your head is in the water.

Many people try to keep their heads above the water in order to keep their breathing normal. Although this sounds good in theory, the amount of strain that your neck endures isn't worth the benefit of keeping your head above water.

Another technique is to breathe every stroke. For example, you breathe every stroke on your right side. This idea is better than keeping your head above the water, but it is just as exhausting because of the amount of torso turning you do with every stroke. Doing core exercises will help these swimming motions become easier.

So what is the best way to do your swimming cardio workouts?

Simple, just swim! Even though swimming is anaerobic, it is a good idea to be able to have a strong anaerobic and aerobic system. This means that you should alternate swimming and running to increase both abilities.

When you are swimming try to swim for as long as you can without breaks. Even if you are barely moving in the water, it's better to push yourself within reason to really get a good workout in.

Running is the most effective cardiovascular workout for your flat stomach goals, but it is rough on the body. It is an aerobic activity which burns the most calories per hour when your heart rate is high enough.

The upside of running is that you can do it anywhere, anytime, and in any weather. Some people actually prefer to run in the rain, while others prefer to listen to the creatures of the night while they run. Running lets you personalize your cardio workouts.

You are able to plot your own running courses so you can enjoy the views while you run or to pass a friends house along the way. Just remember it's important to stay focused when you run and to always try to beat your previous cardio workout to continue to improve yourself. Doing so will help you lose belly fat and tone up your flat stomach.

Keep in mind that there is one downside to running. The impact of every step you take puts large amounts of pressure on your knees and hip joints. Because of this, it is important to try to run on grass if possible compared to running on concrete or cement. Grass is a more forgiving surface which means that the impact of each step will be less stressful than if you were to run on concrete.

Cardio Workout Machines

Any form of machine that involves moving the body to get the heart rate up is considered a cardio machine. Examples of these machines are stair steppers, treadmills, and elliptical machines.

But which machine is the best?

Elliptical MachineThe answer is elliptical machines. Elliptical Machines have been known to make the runner feel like they are running on air. Well with the advanced system that is used for these machines, runners really do seem to run on air.

This is because instead of feeling the impact of every step, the elliptical machine creates a comfortable elongated oval motion for your legs. This lessens the joint pressure because your feet never actually lift off the the ground.

All machines are very useful because you are able to track how far you have run, see your heart rate, track how many calories you have burned, and can increase the difficulty by raising the slope gradient or the resistance on the machine.

When you use these machines for your cardio workouts, make sure you record your results so you know what you need to do to one-up yourself the next time you workout.

Staying consistent with these workouts, will put you one step closer to your flat stomach goals!
