Many think that it is okay to pass up on a day if they have a very busy day or were tired all day. The truth is, having a mind set like that will never work. I can't count the number of times that I've not wanted to go to the gym because I didn't have the energy or because I just wanted to relax.

Regardless though, I went and completed my belly fat workout anyways. Even though getting myself to my workout area was hard, once I got there and got going I usually gained energy and felt great afterwards.

On the other hand, there are some times to when you just aren't feeling yourself that day and you have a horrible workout. Even though the workout was slower and not as effective as it usually would've been, it was still a workout.

That feeling of getting a workout consistently never gives your body the chance to start storing fat. Instead it burns belly fat. In the long run, even if you only get out to exercise for 10 minutes, it's always better than nothing!

I had a great motivator that helped me through my goals. Not only did it teach me this mind set, but I learned a lot about my body, the best ways to promote muscle growth, and learned how to lose belly fat. Below are a few tips that I've learned to keep myself committed to my abdominal workouts. Remember that everyone has different motivators and that a big part of your success will be to learn what these motivators are, so you can get yourself to the gym every time you are supposed to no matter how you are feeling.

The I'm Tired Excuse

Everyone has those days when they are supposed to work on getting rid of their belly fat, but they just don't feel like doing it. This could stem from a rough day at work, not getting enough sleep the night before, or about a billion other reasons that you can come up with.

The best way to counter this tired feeling is to drink a cold glass of water. A glass of water should be about eight ounces which will hydrate your body. Usually if you are tired it's because you just don't have enough water in your system. The cold water will make your body increase the temperature of your body to hold the normal body temperature.

Holding the normal body temperature will require your heart rate to speed up just slightly. This will make you feel like you have a little more energy and give you that extra motivation needed for you to get to the gym to get rid of your fat belly.

The Couch Phenomenon

When most people get home from work, they change into something more comfortable and relax the rest of the night. Rightly so, you deserve to because you've had a long day at work and gave 100% for your entire shift. Usually this means that you will be sitting in a chair or a couch for the rest of the evening, instead of working to get rid of your belly fat.

This is called the couch phenomenon because humans instinctively go to the most comfortable furniture arrangement possible where you can be comfortable and have your mind entertained in a non-active way (television, surfing the internet, video games, etc).

Luckily, there is a way to combat this automatic instinct. One way to do this is to not go home. Instead go straight to the gym or where ever you choose to workout. You can change at work or at your destination, but the benefits will be surprising.

Since you will already have the idea of going to another activity, your brain will not tell your body to get more tired. Instead, you will go to the gym and workout at the current energy level you have after work. Even if your energy level isn't high, your energy level will still be higher than if you went home first or sat on the couch.

The Early Bird Special

If you are a morning person, then this option is for you! There are a few ways you can do your belly fat elimination exercises, but the important part is that you workout in the morning before work. This means you will be getting up an hour to an hour and a half earlier than you usually would for work.

Now don't cringe at the thought, because you'll be surprised of the benefits. Working out in the morning allows you to have a free evening to do whatever you want, without having to feel obligated to workout and miss out on plans.

Another benefit of working out in the mornings is that it will wake you up! You will probably feel very tired when you first wake up earlier in the morning, but after your belly fat elimination workouts, you'll feel very energized and ready to take on anything that is thrown your way. This high is a great feeling to have, and actually can convert night owls to early birds because of the difference in daily energy levels.

There is always something that will come up in life. This is why when you try to eliminate belly fat, it's important to know the ways you can motivate and trick yourself into going to workout.

Sometimes you can even throw in an unhealthy snack afterwards as a reward to do your abdominal workouts. Although if you do unhealthy snacks, keep these rewards rare. It's better to find healthy things that can serve as a reward for your goals to lose belly fat.

Stay committed to your workouts through consistency and you will obtain great results and come closer to getting rid of your belly fat. Remember even 10 minutes a day is better than doing nothing, every little bit counts!
